There is a chill in the air which means that New Englander’s favorite season is just around the corner! The development team is right on schedule getting 290 Highland Ave buttoned up before the weather turns. We are all boarded up, and all of our windows are currently on site. Over the next ten days, the team will be working hard to install all windows and complete the roof so that the project with will water tight.
One thing that is particularly exceptional about this project is the amount of time and effort dedicated to the layouts of each of our residences. Brent Berc of BREC LLC and Derek Bloom of Derek Bloom Architects were on site on Friday for a few hours to walk through each unit and check the livability of the layouts. Friday’s visit was the first time that the team had the ability to see the residences from their respective elevations. “There are views that we didn’t know we had; there are views that we knew that we had. You take a look out any of these windows out here on the upper floors, and you get straight shots down Highland Ave and straight shots to the hills of Route 2.” Stated Brent regarding the feel of the Penthouse level. Derek Bloom commented that the building provide its residents with a unique urban living experience as the view outside of your window is a lively city portrait.
